The ultimate Bowen Island retreat has room for friends, family and projects, with the beach just down the road. It comes together in a classic West Coast home. Guests, extended family, or renters can use the self-contained suite, while a detached backyard bunkie with a 2-piece bath offers space for a studio or office. Garage and workshop hold tools and gear. Clerestory windows and a 17' vaulted ceiling bring light and passive warmth. Weekend brunches and family dinners centre on the oversized 15' kitchen island. Upstairs, the lofted family room has an ocean view and room for movies or sleepovers. The primary bedroom has a 5-piece ensuite; another bedroom has built-in bunks. Outside are generous decks, a new hot tub, lush landscaping and a flat, fenced garden. Beaches and trails are nearby.
